Putting By-Product Water On Our Thirsty Land - Benefit #8: Closes the Knowledge Gap

THE knowledge gap often spoken of in terms of produced/by-product water is twofold.

First, we don’t know the water’s makeup when it comes out of the fracking well and put into an injected well. Second, we don’t know what happens to that water when it goes down the hole.

Our Conservation By-Design method closes both gaps.

FIRST GAP CLOSED

The produced/by-produce water is tested to understand what must change for it to match the needs of surrounding soil. Then, after cleaning, we conduct a fail-safe test on the water to make sure it matches the soil’s needs before applying to the grounnd. That information is publicly available on our website HERE.

SECOND GAP CLOSED

The water and the soil are both continually monitored to make sure that the cleaned water is doing what it’s supposed to do – create healthy soil. Moisture probes measure the volume of water continually and in real time. The soil is tested on a strict schedule to make sure that it’s staying healthy. So, with Conservation By-Design, there is no gap in knowledge about what the water is doing in the soil.
